Advanced minimally invasive surgery (Laparoscopy) is not inherently a part of a reproductive endocrinology practice.  Dramatic differences exist in operative skill from surgeon to surgeon.  Dr. Fox, through advanced training, practice, and innovation in surgical techniques, offers the highest skill level available in the country for laparoscopy.  There are only a few surgeons nationwide that treat stage IV (most advanced stage) endometriosis laparoscopically.  Because of his expertise in advanced laparoscopy, Dr. Fox has been referred patients from other practioners all across the southeast.  His focus on laparoscopy has allowed him to perform almost all surgeries through the laparoscope that traditionally would be performed as open procedures.  Laparoscopy allows for an outpatient procedure in almost all cases and a much faster and easier recovery time.
