More nutrition and pregnancy work.  We know that both compounds 6 & 3 are important for health but excesses in 6 cause inflammation and are very involved in the development of metabolic disease.  This and other studies suggest that the American diet high in omega 6 is not being well tolerated by the fetus either.  these fats are found in industrially produced vegetable oils including margarine, corn oil etc. Other sources include the following and need to be eliminated or utilized in moderation.  All industrially produced mayonnaise uses vegetable oil as it’s primary oil base.  Some varieties are now available with olive oil or avocado oil.  So while carbs are bad, so are many oils in our food supply.  To your health….
