Current recommendations are for the vaccination of all adults, whether pregnant, trying to conceive or otherwise. We would recommend that the dosing not occur during a treatment cycle, especially the second dose that stimulates a robust immune response. The cycle start should be at least 2 weeks after the second injection. Millions of vaccines have been delivered and very few significant side effects have been reported. The better the immune response (symptoms of fever, aching, headache etc) the better the vaccine will presumably work. At JCRM, we advocate vaccine for all patients and family members.
