Studies continue to pour out with evidence of little benefit for PGT-A or basic genetic testing of embryos in younger patients during IVF cycles. We urge caution when considering these techniques in conjunction with the already very successful IVF platform for fertility treatments. The added costs, potential for normal baby with an abnormal test result, and the potential for harm to the embryo are all balancing reasons to consider when thinking of PGT-A use in an IVF cycle. We recommend that you consult your physician before blindly requesting this procedure.
